Christopher James Appoints Yale Simpson Chairman

Christopher James Gold Corp. (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Yale Simpson, of West Vancouver, as Chairman and a director of the Company.

Mr. Simpson has more than thirty years experience as a senior geologist, exploration manager and CEO of companies involved in exploration and development projects in Australia, Africa, Eastern Europe and Argentina. He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, with the degree of Bachelor of Applied Science (geological engineering).

Mr. Simpson has particular expertise in strategic planning and corporate communications. He is a director of several advanced exploration companies and is the President and a director of the Britannia Beach Historical Society, operator of the British Columbia Museum of Mining.

Dr. E. Max Baker, the Company’s President and CEO, commented: "We are extremely pleased to have Yale join us in a senior advisory capacity. His years of technical and business experience in building successful mining companies will be tremendous assistance as we move forward."

The Company has granted Mr. Simpson incentive stock options to purchase 275,000 common shares of the Company, exercisable for a period of five years at a price of $0.80 per share.
