Christopher James Gold Corporation (the "Company") announces the appointment of John Glanville, of Vancouver, to the position of Manager - Corporate Communications.

Mr Baker commented, "John will be an important component of the Company's new management team. His understanding of mineral exploration and deep relationships within the financial community will ensure that the Company's progress on new and existing projects over the next few months is communicated effectively to the markets."

Mr. Glanville, 48, has extensive experience in various facets of the securities industry, including, most recently, assisting mining companies with their investor relations efforts. He holds both B.A. and B.Ed. degrees. He joins Mr. Baker and Chief Financial Officer Cecil Bond as a member of the Company's new management team.

Mr. Glanville will receive an annual salary of $54,000 and incentive options to purchase 150,000 common shares of the Company at a price of $0.38 per share for a period of five years. The options are subject to the terms of the Company's stock option plan, including a vesting schedule, and to a hold period expiring June 14, 2006. They may not be exercised until the Company has received disinterested shareholder approval of both the exercise price and its stock option plan.
