 Craigmont Mine

Under the terms of an option agreement with Craigmont Mines, Christopher James has started a geophysical exploration program over the western extension of the copper-iron skarn orebody. Garth D. Kirkham, P.Geoph. is supervising a program which includes the placing of electrodes down three existing drill holes and the base of the open pit, and combining this data with inversion induced polarization data from 35.5 km of geophysical lines. Personnel of Frontier Geosciences of North Vancouver are carrying out the survey. A deep drilling program on developed geophysical targets is anticipated.

Brassie Creek

Magnetic anomalies detected in a 1996 survey will be enhanced with both fill-in and extended magnetometer lines, by Frontier Geosciences. Magnetic anomalies will be excavator trenched, mapped and sampled under the supervision of Garth D. Kirkham, P.Geoph. Previous exploration has detected outcropping magnetite-rich copper-zinc-silver-gold skarn deposits in the vicinity of the magnetic anomalies. Trenching will start in mid-June, and will be followed with drilling, if results warrant.
